I have done it!
I have made the yummiest dessert known to man! Cupcakes are out.  Donuts are on their way.  Cake pops/ balls are what’s up right now. And I have come up with the most insanely delicious recipe for chocolate cake balls that I didn’t even have time to take a picture of them. Chocolate cake stuffed with cheesecake, all covered in a chocolate candy coating. Here goes- What you need: ...

Two Reviews
Last week I saw two movies- one great (Crazy Stupid Love), one good (The Help).  I saw Crazy Stupid Love and I loved it.  It was refreshingly original and energetic.  It is an ensemble piece involving 6 people of various ages in various stages of “love.”  Oh so hot Ryan Gosling is a stand-out in his first comedy.  Like I said he looks amazing in this (wearing some impeccably tailored suits and...

Lots of stuff
So yeah… I’ve been away… I know, I know.  I’ve been busy with work, auditions, excuses, etc.  I’m committing to post more regularly and to post things that are interesting.  If I don’t have anything to say on a particular day why should you listen.  So I will be back posting things that I love.  One of which you’ll find below!  I will be beginning...

NYC- here I come!
So, I’ll be in NYC June 10-14. I’ll do some auditioning. Hopefully, maybe get some photos taken.  Below you’ll see a few of the places I already know I’m going to be hitting up while there.  I know there are so many things I’m forgetting and my “to-do” list will grow a mile long.  But, most importantly, I’ll get to see old friends!

Hold On- see this movie!
I went to see “Bridesmaids” this weekend and I will admit to being surprised that it was a sold out showing.  I was hoping people would go see this female led flick, but you never know.  From what I read (mostly on twitter) this movie was hilarious and had to be seen.  You can’t go wrong starting a movie with Jon Hamm.  “Bridesmaids” opened with Jon Hamm and lots of laughs and didn’t stop making...

I've been missing...
You! I needed to take a week off to get inspired and catch up on life.  Instead of my typical Monday “Closet Cravings” post I thought I’d share the little project I completed this weekend.  It’s not my design; I copied a Fenton necklace that’s $550.  I think mine was made for less than $40.  I’m pretty proud of myself so please don’t mind the gloating! ...

What my Closet Craves- May Week #2
DIY statement necklaces! Seriously, I will not be spending $500+ on a necklace (not anytime soon at least).  But honestly, I could easily make these necklaces in an afternoon.  After work today, I’m making a trip to Michael’s.  I’ll keep y’all updated on my progress!

What My Closet Craves- May Week #1
Yes, like many others, I awoke at 4am to watch the Royal Wedding.  I was a tad melancholy for my former 14 year old self who desperately wanted to marry Prince William.  But alas, it was not to be.  What was I most looking forward to?  The dress, of course. And the dress was just as I had expected- beautiful, sleeved, modest, and not over the top.  But secretly, I was hoping for something a...

Amazing shopping finds- The modern day bloomer!
You know those tunics and dresses and button downs that are just way to short to wear without pants but too long to wear with pants.  Well, we’re approaching summer so the idea of leggings makes me sick.  In past seasons we may have thrown on a pair of leggings but instead, opt for the short short (or what I like to call the modern day bloomer).  Here’s a few to check out!       No....

Ladies and Gentlemen, step right up
I read the book “Water for Elephants” a year ago.  I can remember the exact series of events that made me pick it up.  After watching “Inglorious Basterds” I had to google Christoph Waltz and find more on this incredible actor.   News feeds read that he had signed on to play August in a film adaptation of “Water for Elephants,” a book I’d browsed through in Barnes and Nobles.  It hadn’t peaked my...

RIP
Tim Hetherington (1970-2011) Last night I was doing a little research for a future blog post; I really should have been going to bed, but I thought I’d go to The Huffington Post really quick.  The fifth story down “Oscar nominated director killed in Libya” was under such stories as “Lindsey Lohan loses another big role,” “Tyra Banks without makeup,” and “Kevin Smith: Seth Rogen made me a...
